Redevelopment work planned for Lake Region
WEXFORD CO. Council is currently considering a planning application relating to proposed redevelopment work at the Lake Region Medical Ltd. plant at Butlersland, New Ross.
The application was lodged with the local authority on February 16.
The proposal makes provision for the ‘part demolition of an existing former manufacturing/ industrial facility’.
The submission also seeks permission for the retention of an existing cold store and [its] conversion to a new warehouse.
The proposed work, if given the go-ahead, will also include an extension of the existing hard standing for car parking as well as the construction of a new internal link road and stairs to the adjacent facility.
The redevelopment will also include the installation of a new boundary fence.
